No, I won't be stuffing your mail box full of... well.. stuff. |
What's with the email thing? If the information is free, why don't you just put it all up here on the Blobmosis blog?
Because that is too easy. Left to their own devices people will just trawl through posts, take what they think they can easily adjust to and then forget the rest... particularly on pizza night.
- And that birthday they have to go to.
- And the drinks they have organised.
- And the boozy afternoon lunch-a-rama they have scheduled.
- And the coffee shop guy will miss them.
- And the box of cookies in the cupboard
- And the fridge full of beer/wine/vodka(best kept in the freezer for future reference)
- And the frozen pies that are on special.
An email every day serves as a focus and a reminder of what you have committed to do.
Each email lists what I ate on the day, and what I was feeling along with any other observations that came to mind. Remember, I'm not some hard-body that came up with a plan. I did this. Recently (March 2012 for those who dig on dates)
I WILL NOT pass your email address on to a third party so they can fill your inbox with uncanned spam. The only emails you get will be from me. Promise.
(I hate spam... hate it.)
"Enough already - I want IN... I am totally up for this" I hear you say....

- What's with the email thing? If the information is free, why don't you just put it all up here on the Blobmosis blog?
- You are going to try to sell me something, aren't you?
- How did I find my “plan?”
- You are going to make me drink protein shakes and take a million different kinds of supplements aren't you?
- Am I going to have to give up everything? I don't want to give up everything.
- I don't have the time to cook, what do you have to say about that?
- Won't I be hungry though? It's a diet, so I have to be hungry...right?
- No working out? No being flogged at the gym? Seriously?
- I'm a vegetarian, can I take part in the experiment as well?
- You lost almost 10kgs (22 pounds) that means I will too, right?
- I only like hamburgers and fries and deep fried cheese and beer and wine and pizza, and corn chips and peanut butter .... so, can you tell me how I can eat THAT every day and lose weight?
